She has performed extensively in Venetian venues\, private events\, and festivals. \n\n \nMichele Simionato \nSax \nA student of Renato Geremia\, Simionato was a co-founder of the Ottetto Mediterraneo\, which later evolved into the renowned Keptorchestra. A versatile multi-instrumentalist\, he performs extensively across Jazz\, Pop\, and Blues contexts (notably as the bassist for PIXELS). \n\n \nPiero Bellini \nPiano \nAn economist by trade and a pianist and composer by passion. Years ago\, his Afro-jazz composition earned him a “Golden Lion” at a song festival held at Venice’s Teatro Malibran. His original works from the album B-PLAN—recorded with some of the region’s finest jazz musicians—along with live GIADAJAZZ performances\, can be found on YouTube. \n\n\n\n \nPiero Gianolli \nBass \nHolding a degree in double bass from the Vicenza Conservatory\, his repertoire spans from jazz to Baroque music. Within the Baroque scene\, he performs weekly in Venice with the ensemble “I SERENISSIMI”\, frequently presenting rare or unreleased period compositions. \n\n \nGiuseppe Giada \nDrums \nA dedicated student of Davide Regazzoni and Max Trabucco\, his repertoire ranges from pop and rock to jazz\, bossa nova\, and beyond. She trained under Masters Gianfranco Bottino and Francesco Audino\, as well as Ty LeBlanc\, Franca Pullia\, Laura Copiello\, Federica Baccaglini\, and Silvia Girotto. Alongside her recording and live career\, she has dedicated herself to teaching modern singing since 2014\, constantly updating her skills through high-profile workshops\, masterclasses\, and conferences. \nAfter relocating to Trento\, she made her early artistic debut at seventeen as the frontwoman of the rock band Mephisto’s Rock Café\, and the following year joined the choir for the rock opera Tommy by The Who. She later performed as an understudy for the lead role in the musical The Last Five Years. In Trentino-Alto Adige\, she launched the original pop-rock project NOEMA\, touring the Triveneto region and gaining intensive recording studio experience alongside prominent professionals such as producer Rossano Eleuteri (Nek\, Riccardo Cocciante\, Gipsy Kings)\, sound engineer Marco Dallago (Lucio Dalla\, Fiorella Mannoia\, Elisa)\, and drummer Francesco Dalla Pellegrina (Negrita). \nMoving to Venice\, in 2008 she became the vocalist for Quiet Steam and Skip System (now GmG & The Beta Project)\, releasing the albums Queen With No Crown and Lost and Found. Since 2010\, she has toured extensively with the Why Not Acoustic Quartet\, and worked as a backing vocalist for Texan singer Ty LeBlanc at the Pistoia Blues and Trasimeno Blues Festivals\, sharing the stage with blues icons such as Pippo Guarnera\, Vince Valicelli\, and Nick Becattini. \nIn 2013\, she joined the Venice Gospel Ensemble\, directed by Luca Pitteri\, and collaborated as a session vocalist on deep-house projects with DJ Daniele Bonaldo. In 2014\, she was selected as an alto backing vocalist for the Pink Floyd tribute band Gambler\, while simultaneously performing with Sam & The Goodfellas\, Black Coffee Acoustic Band\, and RonnyB. \nIn 2017\, she co-founded The Echoes – A New Pink Floyd Acoustic Experience\, a minimalist acoustic tribute that collaborated with Turkish pianist AyseDeniz Gokcin and quickly booked national theater tours. Since 2017\, she has been a regular performer at the annual “Laguna Blues Festival” in Falkenstein\, Germany\, curated by guitarist Francesco Boldini. In October 2018\, she won “The Best Voice” competition in Codognè (Treviso). His influences expanded to include Elvis\, Jorma Kaukonen\, and the foundational country-blues of Mississippi John Hurt\, Reverend Gary Davis\, and Blind Blake. His journey continued through rock icons like Bruce Springsteen\, Bob Seger\, Willy DeVille\, and Tom Waits\, eventually reaching the artist he considers the pinnacle: Ry Cooder (who also introduced him to another pillar of American music\, John Hiatt). \nA self-taught musician\, SirJoe refined his fingerpicking style and began performing at eighteen. In the early 1980s\, he played in schools\, public squares\, and local music venues. In 1986\, he co-founded an electric band that would later become B-WOPS\, one of the most significant musical entities in the Venice area. Still active after forty years\, the group’s sound blends rhythm & blues\, rock’n’roll\, soul\, country\, blues\, and gospel. With B-WOPS\, he released two CDs under the Club De Musique label: Rhythm’n’rollin (1993)\, featuring guests such as Paul Millns\, Andy J. Forest\, and Tolo Marton; and Italian Boots (1998). His career includes several compilations\, a performance at the 2004 Pistoia Blues Festival\, and appearances on Red Ronnie’s television show Roxy Bar\, alongside countless concerts across Northern Italy and Switzerland. \nDespite his success with electric bands\, SirJoe’s passion for acoustic music remained. This led him to launch a solo career as SirJoe Polito and form the Acoustic and Electric Band\, the core ensemble behind MY FRIEND RY\, a tribute album to the music of Ry Cooder. Released in December 2021 by Gutenberg Music by Caligola Records\, the CD features twelve rearranged tracks from the Santa Monica guitarist’s discography. The project was inspired by Aldo Pedron\, the esteemed journalist and co-founder of magazines such as Il Mucchio Selvaggio and Il Buscadero. \nThe album involved exceptional talents\, including Jeff Pevar\, Paul Millns\, Butch Coulter\, Inger Nova Jorgensen\, and many others\, with sound engineering by Martino Favalli and Gigi Campalto. Historic tracks like “Crazy ‘bout an automobile” and “Little Sister” were reborn in fresh\, distinct versions. \nIn July 2025\, SirJoe’s latest dream was realized with the release of BLACK & WHITE (Gutenberg by Caligola Records).
