SUMMARY:Le Dee Del Gioco
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1770634800568{margin-top: 2.5em !important;}” el_class=”event-it”][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1770632474218{margin-top: 2.5em !important;}”] \nThe Goddesses of the Game: Where Myth Meets Sport\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1770633221299{margin-top: 2.5em !important;}”] \nLe Dee del Gioco(The Goddesses of the Game) is a powerful theatrical and musical recital that reimagines the lives of Italy’s greatest female Olympians. This performance transcends simple sports storytelling to elevate real women into a mythical dimension—modern goddesses emerging from the snow\, the water\, and the track. \nThe show follows the journeys of five iconic athletes: Ondina Valla\, Stefania Belmondo\, Arianna Fontana\, Valentina Vezzali\, and Federica Pellegrini. It explores what it truly means to reach for gold as a woman\, navigating changing bodies\, injuries\, expectations\, and radical choices. \nMichela Mocchiutti‘s compelling narration guides the audience through an intimate journey where the athletic feat becomes a human story. Alongside her\, Giovanna Lubjan‘s live music and soulful guitar provide a space for reflection\, amplifying the emotional depth of each tale. \nIn this “Pop Olympus“\, every athlete is paired with an ancient goddess. These deities appear not to reward perfection\, but to recognize the intelligence and resilience required to push beyond one’s limits. Le Dee del Gioco is a tribute to the female body that fights and wins\, proving that true strength is not the absence of fragility\, but the courage to move through it. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1770634179203{margin-top: 2.5em !important;}” el_class=”thebandits”]Credits: \n\nMichela Mocchiutti & Giovanna Lubjan\nPerformers\nRoberta Barbiero & Alexander Gentili\nOff-stage voices\nAngelo Zanini\nSound & Lights\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1770633252892{margin-top: 2.5em !important;}”] \n\n\n\nAdmission subject to availability. \n\n\n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

From Serge Gainsbourg‘s La Javanaise to Tony Murena‘s Parisian Godasse\, it is a swirl of melodies that winds through Toulouse before finally arriving at original compositions by accordionist Miranda Cortes. Her multicultural background and ethnomusicological research led her to found the ensemble “La Frontera\,” dedicated to original interpretations of Mediterranean traditions. These tracks were chosen for their melodic power\, narrative depth\, and their cultural significance within the Italian singer-songwriter tradition. \n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1765880747607{margin-top: 2.5em !important;}”] \n \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1765880772069{margin-top: 2.5em !important;}”] \n\nThis jazz reinterpretation also draws inspiration from Vanoni’s deep relationship with Brazilian music\, particularly her collaboration with Vinicius de Moraes and Toquinho on the 1976 album La voglia la pazzia l’incoscienza l’allegria. He was a simple house painter at the Royal Arsenal of Venice and thus lacked a formal education; nevertheless\, he produced a significant body of musical work and enjoyed great\, albeit ephemeral\, success. A substantial portion of his production was published by the renowned Casa Ricordi. \nFrom this output\, this event highlights a collection of eight chamber ariettas published in 1855 by Tito Ricordi titled “Ariette Veneziane.” The lyrics for this collection were penned by another illustrious son of the lagoon\, Francesco Maria Piave. \nThe year 2025 marks the 150th anniversary of Bortolini‘s passing and the 170th anniversary of the publication of “Amori Veneziani.” \nThis performance will be a journey through a century of Venetian history\, exploring the curiosities and atmospheres that traversed the city’s calli and canals during one of the most culturally rich periods Venice has ever experienced.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1761912167059{margin-top: 1em !important;margin-bottom: 3em !important;border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-color: #838383 !important;}”]Featured Composers: Bortolini\, Buzzolla\, Hahn\, Perucchini.[/vc_column_text][dfd_new_team_member team_member_img_width=”300″ team_member_name=”Amori Veneziani” team_member_job_position=”© 2025 – Piergiorgio Freddi” team_member_description=”Independently published” icon_size=”15″ team_member_photo=”46704″ el_class=”full-width label-white” enable_custom_link=”show” custtom_link_url=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FAMORI-VENEZIANI-Lanomalo-Bortolini-Francesco%2Fdp%2FB0FF2TSD2Y|title:Amori%20veneziani|target:_blank|rel:nofollow”][dfd_spacer]Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Name *FirstLastEmail *EmailConfirm EmailPeople *12345678910List of participants *Please enter each person's name.NewsletterI would be pleased to receive the Aquarius newsletter.Join our mailing list to receive timely updates from Aquarius Events.GDPR Agreement *I have read and agree to your Cookies and Privacy Policy.Submit [vc_column_text css=””] \n\n  \n\nAperiJazz\, live music in Venice by\nIL SESTIERE DELLA MUSICA \n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
