Maestro Giuseppe Barutti will perform Bach’s Second Suite in D minor for solo cello and the First Suite for solo cello in G major.
Between the two suites Barutti will create a personal modulating bridge, between the “minor” lunar world and the “major” solar world. Inside the modulating bridge there will be a poem sung to the accompaniment of the cello with lyrics by his friend Dario Meneghetti, who inspired Barutti to propose a seamless continuum.
