The 2023 docufilm “Io, noi e Gaber” with more than 65,000 tickets sold in cinemas was just a confirmation: there is still a great need for Gaber.
For the occasion, the acoustic trio proposes a repertoire with Gaber‘s most famous songs such as: La Libertà, Il conformista, Far finta di essere sani, Un’idea and many others.
Il Signor G
Born in Milan on 25 January 1939 in via Londonio 28, “Il Signor G.” was one of the most influential figures in Italian entertainment and music after the WWII.
The originality of his artistic production clearly distinguishes him from his contemporaries. In Gaber‘s work there is everything: lightness, disenchantment, irony for the tics and neuroses of the common man, the sense of love and life, the joy of social and civil commitment and the most bitter disillusionment.

Singer-songwriter, guitarist, playwright, director, actor and writer, the “ignorant philosopher”, as he himself defined himself, actually had a wide range of literary references, from Adorno to Leopardi, passing through Beckett, Borges, Brecht, Céline, Sartre and Pasolini.
With the latter Gaber shared the objective of dismantling ideological conformism, as revealed by the dazzling texts of Qualcuno era comunista, Destra-Sinistra and Il conformista.
He trained in jazz, played rock’n’roll when it was still a niche genre in Italy, collaborated with Jannacci and Mina until, at the height of his success, he created a new genre: song theatre.
