“Soul Toys” is the new album by pianist and producer Michele Bonivento.

A Soul-jazz cocktail that well represents the experience of a musician who has over 80 albums behind him with international collaborations and concerts throughout Europe and the United States.

Empathizing with the music and energy of the blues, the sound recalls pianists such as Geore Duke, Joe Sample, Gregg Karukas where the attention to the melody is accompanied by a solid rhythm and ridden by the timeless sounds of the Hammond organ, the Fender Rhodes and the Wurlitzer electric piano.

Bonivento has played with artists such as Mindi Abeir, Jim Patrick, Cheryl Porter, Carl Verheyen, Dana Gillespie, Ian Siegal, Joyce Yuille, Ronnie Jones, Stan Sergeant and many others.

At his side are three important musicians with whom he has a total understanding: William Nisi on the saxophone, Alvise Seggi on the electric bass and double bass and Raul Catalano on the drums.
