Luca Minnelli is an Italian tenor born in Venice. From a young age he showed a great passion for music and in particular for opera singing. He studied at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he graduated with top marks. After graduating, Luca began to perfect his vocal technique with renowned opera singing teachers in Italy and abroad. He debuted on the international scene obtaining great success and recognition from critics and audiences.

Luca Minnelli’s repertoire ranges from bel canto to contemporary operas, demonstrating his versatility and his ability to interpret different roles with great intensity and emotion. He has sung in important theaters and opera festivals around the world, collaborating with prestigious conductors and directors. He has perfected his vocal technique, studying with Michela Remor, Teresa Perdoncin, Andrea Tosoni and Giuseppe Lopizzo. He is considered the most successful Italian tenor of the moment, capable of combining the expressive forms of opera with those of pop. He has received several national and international awards, has participated in countless concerts, important Rai television shows and has been the protagonist of duets with some of the most significant artists of opera and pop music. He was a member of The Gondoliers, an esteemed and recognized vocal ensemble for the peculiarities linked to traditional Venetian singing, revisited in a modern key.

Minnelli is highly esteemed and appreciated in Europe and America, where he is called “The golden voice of Venice“.

One of the most exciting moments of his solo career, which began in the late nineties, was the meeting with Brian May, legendary guitarist of Queen. The musician recorded a solo in “Forever and Ever With You”, a song in which Minnelli was also the protagonist of a vocal duet with the talented Kerry Ellis. The song was promoted by a video in which Brian May himself also took part.
The singer has received important awards including the Charlie Chaplin Award in 2017.
He was called to sing in New York as part of Columbus Day.

The lyric pop tenor has also collaborated with Francesco Sartori (composer of the music for “Con te partirò”), Diego Basso, Carlo Bernini and Stef Burns, guitarist of Vasco Rossi.

He recently conducted international master classes together with Pupo in Russia, Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, where he selected young emerging voices.
