Sara Longo trio, about love.
APERIJAZZ
Sara Longo: voice
Paolo Vianello: piano
Alvise Seggi: double bass
The trio presents a concert that talks about love, about the love that is and the one that is no longer there, about the one that ends well and the one that ends badly.
Between jazz, swing, French, Italian and Brazilian songs, the musicians of this musical project have fun retracing through the songs of the singer-songwriters the loves lost, dreamed, hoped for, conquered, realized!
Born in Livorno in 1982, Sara Longo studied piano, opera singing and jazz singing at the Paris Conservatory (Niedermeyer & Henri Dutilleux).
Since 2010 she has been a jazz singer, in formations ranging from duo to big band. She is the initiator of the Sara French Sextet, a manouche jazz band with original compositions, with which she will tour Europe for more than 6 years, collaborating with Sébastien Giniaux, Corentin Giniaux, but also with international artists including James Carter, Cyrille Aimée, Les doigts de l’homme, Etienne Vincent and Richard Metairon.

Since 2015 her collaborations have been varied and numerous, in the jazz environment, but also in the traditional Brazilian circuit, as Sara performs in contexts of Roda di Samba and Pagode, Parisian but also Portuguese and Italian (on stage with Leo Rodriguez, Fred Martins and colectivo Zabumba). In 2020, with over 400 performances in Europe behind her, she decides to live between Paris and Venice. In the lagoon she meets musicians and new projects are born.
Awarded best jazz singer at the Trophées du Sunset/Sunside Jazz club (Paris) in 2014.
