Viaggio al Sud

South America is a continent extraordinarily rich in vibrant colors, breathtaking landscapes and diverse cultures. It is also the cradle of a unique musical variety, which reflects the history, traditions and identity of its peoples.

“Viaggio al Sud” is a musical project that invites listeners to embark on a sonic exploration through this fascinating mosaic of rhythms, melodies and narratives. Through careful musicological research and live performances, the project aims to enhance the diversity of South American music, a vast and varied heritage that ranges from Argentine tango to Brazilian samba, from Uruguayan candombe to Colombian cumbia.

The trio presents a repertoire that traces the history of South American and Hispanic music, through iconic songs that have marked entire generations. Among these, masterpieces such as Historia de un amor, Bésame mucho, Volver, Alfonsina y el mar, Corcovado and many others stand out, offering the public an exciting journey through timeless melodies and atmospheres steeped in passion and nostalgia.

The aim is to highlight this wealth through a selection of traditional and contemporary songs, coming from different regions of the continent. Each musical genre tells stories, passes on experiences and preserves unique traditions: “Viaggio al Sud” wants to give voice to these narratives, offering the public an immersive, engaging and educational experience.

Music, a universal language capable of overcoming borders and barriers, becomes the means through which to create an authentic intercultural dialogue. “Viaggio al Sud” brings together artists from different countries, encouraging collaboration and the exchange of experiences to promote greater mutual understanding through sound art.

More than a simple concert, “Viaggio al Sud” is an experience that celebrates the beauty and variety of South American music, with the hope that this sonic journey can inspire, enrich and leave a deep mark on the soul of those who listen.
