Giuliana began singing as a child in the choir of the Piccoli Cantori Veneziani (Little Singers of Venice), participating in polyphonic concerts and opera productions at the Teatro La Fenice. She grew up cultivating choral music with the Cantori Veneziani (Venetian Singers) and the Polifonica Benedetto Marcello (Benedetto Marcello Polyphonic Choir), later moving towards gospel with the Venice Gospel Ensemble and the Joy Singers.
As a soloist, she studied at Il Suono Improvviso (The Improvised Sound) in Venice under the guidance of Carla Marcotulli and Piera Acone, and participated in ensemble music workshops led by Edu Hebling.
She has always nurtured a love for jazz, funk, and soul, and experiments with innovative vocal and interpretative formations. With profound interpretations and sonorities, she revisits great international hits, including some of the most beautiful cornerstones of Italian music history. And not only Mina.

An eclectic pianist with a classical background, Max soon developed a passion for jazz and Afro-American music. He attended the school Il Suono Improvviso in Venice, taking courses in jazz piano, ensemble music, and harmony with Paolo Birro, Davide Ragazzoni, Paolo Vianello, and Marco Castelli. In 1997, he obtained the International Diploma of Advanced Studies at Siena Jazz under the guidance of Enrico Pieranunzi, Franco D’Andrea, Stefano Battaglia, and Pietro Tonolo. In 2005, he attended a Masterclass with Danilo Rea at the Jazz Club Unisono (Feltre). He is the creator of the lecture-concert *Jazz. Una storia in bianco e nero©* (Jazz. A History in Black and White©) and innovative and engaging collaborations, including Frankie Back From Hollywood, the Upperground Orchestra – with whom he has recorded three albums – and the duo Mind the Jazz.

A multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, and music teacher. A double bassist, he also plays electric bass, cello, Arabic oud, and guitar. After classical studies, he graduated with honors in jazz music from the Conservatorio G.B. Martini in Bologna (Bachelor's degree) and obtained a Master's degree from the Conservatorio B. Marcello in Venice. He studied at the Music Center of Columbia College in Chicago and at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He composes music for films, documentaries, exhibitions, dance, and television. He plays and has played with internationally renowned musicians, performing as a sideman in numerous festivals and music events. In addition to his passion for jazz, for several years he has been involved in projects ranging from folk, ethnic, and African music to blues, soul, electronic music, sound experiments, and traditional Venetian folk music.
