This project is a tribute to Ornella Vanoni, an iconic figure of Italian music, reinterpreted through the language of jazz.
The performance features a selection of emblematic songs from her repertoire—including L’appuntamento (the Italian adaptation of the famous Brazilian theme Sentado à beira do caminho), Senza fine, La musica è finita, and Domani è un altro giorno. These tracks were chosen for their melodic power, narrative depth, and their cultural significance within the Italian singer-songwriter tradition.

This jazz reinterpretation also draws inspiration from Vanoni’s deep relationship with Brazilian music, particularly her collaboration with Vinicius de Moraes and Toquinho on the 1976 album La voglia la pazzia l’incoscienza l’allegria. It highlights a profound connection with Bossa Nova and Brazilian sounds, featuring songs like Samba della rosa and Io so che ti amerò (the Italian version of Eu sei que vou te amar).
Admission subject to availability. Mandatory drink: €15.00
